Football Victoria 2025 Fee Structure

Football Victoria (FV) can today confirm Player Registration and Team Entry fees for the 2025 season.


FV maintains its ongoing commitment to ensuring football is as affordable as possible for all those who play our beautiful game, and the fees associated are transparent and clear.

As part of the administration of over 40,000 fixtures annually, FV incurs external expenses that continue to rise sharply. Insurance costs alone, included in your registration fee and passed directly to the insurance provider, have risen 50% per participant over the last 5 years. This important cover ensures all registered participants have access to critical benefits in the event of a football-related accident or injury. 

Along with insurance, the FV player registration/team entry fee covers all aspects of football administration; including fixturing, competition rules/policies, referee scheduling, education and accreditation, player dispensation requests, discipline procedures (including the GDT), Council liaison and Club support services. 

FV has elected to support teams, players, and families by absorbing a portion of these cost increases over the past five years. In light of continued cost increases, FV will apply an average increase of 3.8% to player registration fees for the 2025 season, equating to an increase of between $1 and $9 per participant.

While most team entry fees have had the same 3.8% applied, the increase across competitions varies, reflecting additional inclusions (eg the inclusion of U19 team entries) and a more aligned fee structure across FV competitions.

Please note that Football Australia National Registration Fee (NRF) amounts for the 2025 season have also been confirmed and are included within the player registration fee schedule.
