FEMALE FOOTBALL WEEK

Female Football Week (8 - 17 May), is a national celebration of the incredible contributions of women and girls across all areas of football - and a special opportunity to honour our own right here in Victoria.

Female Football Week Celebrating Women & Girls in Football

From players and coaches to referees, administrators, and passionate volunteers, women and girls play a vital role in shaping the game at every level. This week provides a unique opportunity to shine a spotlight on their achievements, inspire the next generation, and continue driving the growth of female participation in football.

Throughout the week, there will be a range of fantastic opportunities, events, and initiatives aimed at celebrating, supporting, and empowering women and girls in the sport. Whether it’s workshops, events, training opportunities, storytelling or other activations, Female Football Week will provide plenty of ways for the football community to get involved and hero the trailblazers at your Club.

More than just a celebration, Female Football Week reinforces Football Victoria’s commitment to ensuring football is a truly inclusive game where women and girls thrive both on and off the pitch.
