Victorian State Futsal Representative Squads | Player Trial Registration Process

Football Victoria will be officially nominating Victorian State Representative Squads in all age groups offered at the 2024 National Futsal Championships (NFC), to be held on the Gold Coast from 5-9 January 2024.
The National Futsal Championships is the largest of Football Australia’s national tournaments, with close to 1,000 participants from over 100 teams being involved from states and territories across Australia. Historically representative teams from Solomon Islands and New Zealand have also participated.

The Program Schedule
Football Victoria (FV) is now pleased to advise the schedule for trials that will take place from Saturday 14 October 2023.

Trials and Training Schedule
Players who are registered to a current Football Victoria affiliated Futsal Club or Futsal Centre (registered as a Futsal player in the Football Australia PlayFootball registration system) and/or who participated at the Football Victoria State Futsal Championships will also be prioritised for identification and selection in the lead up to the trial process.
Once the trial sessions are completed, a training Squad, of approximately 15 players, will train for a number of weeks in the lead up to the 2024 National Futsal Championships before being cut down to a final squad of maximum 10 players per junior age group (up to Under 15 Boys/Girls) and maximum 12 players per age group (Under 16 Boys and above). The final squad will represent Victoria at the 2024 National Futsal Championships.
Training squad invitations will be sent via email to successful triallists soon after the second trial session. Training will take place on Saturday's starting November 4.
Fees
Indicative costs per player to Football Victoria would be in the range of $900-$1,300 to cover all other costs such as team entry fees, uniforms, equipment, venue hire, coaching and medical staff payments, insurance and other costs associated with running the program.
