Regulation Compliance

Requirement for 2024 AGM (held in 2025):

Must comply with Football Australia and Football Victoria Rules, Regulations and Policies and all relevant government regulatory standards (e.g. Victoria's Child Safe Standards, ATO Requirements etc)

What does this mean?

Clubs must have an understanding of the regulatory framework they must comply with in order to be an Associate Member. When a Club competes in Competition, there are Rules and Regulations stipulated by Football Australia and Football Victoria which they must follow in order to ensure fair practice and the integrity of all administered competitions. The Policy framework, while exhaustive and detailed, is there to ensure Clubs have the knowledge and tools available to support and protect their members and fellow competitors. 

What do I need to supply to FV?

  • Declaration and Evidence of Compliance.
  • Confirm if you have a Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) at your Club.

How long do I have to achieve this?

Clubs will need to complete the Annual Club Membership form by the 31st December each year to be eligible to participate in Football Victoria competitions the following calendar year.
