Request a Referee for your upcoming football matches
This serves as the formal process for clubs and event organisers to request qualified match officials—referees and assistant referees—for games or tournaments. We aim to ensure the appropriate and timely allocation of experienced officials to your matches.
REFEREE REQUEST POLICY
To guarantee the best service and proper scheduling, please review and adhere to the following guidelines:
- Friendly Fixtures: Submit requests 7 days in advance
- Tournaments: Submit requests 21 days in advance
FEES & CONDITIONS
All match officials appointed to senior matches will be paid 75% and all junior matches will be paid 100% of the 2025 Match Fee Schedule up until 31st December 2025.
From 1st January 2026, the relevant fees within the 2026 Match Fee Schedule shall be used.
Please note, assistant referees are compulsory for all senior requests for NPLM, VPLM1, VPLM2, NPLW, VPLW and are optional for all other requests.
- Admin Fee (2025): match official requests for games within 2025 will incur a flat $15 administration fee
- Admin Fee (2026): match official requests for games within 2026 will incur a fee of 5% of the total cost of match officials for that game
- Amendment Fee: Any changes to fixtures after submission (such as kick-off date/time, venue, or age group) will incur a $25 amendment fee per change.
- Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made after submission will incur a $25 cancellation fee
- Late Submission Fees:
- Friendly fixture requests submitted with less than 7 days notice will incur a $50 late fee
- Tournament requests submitted with less than 21 days notice will incur a $75 late fee
PLAN AHEAD
We kindly ask all clubs and event organizers to submit fixture requests well in advance. This ensures we have sufficient time to arrange match officials, delivering quality refereeing to support your game or tournament.
