Football Victoria is excited to announce its 2025 Regional Talent ID Programs.
Football Victoria will offer the following Talented Player Programs aimed to provide opportunities for the identification and development of Victorian boys and girls including:
- Talent ID Camps (U9-U17) Boys
- Regional Players invited into Metropolitan Talent Identification and Development Centre (TIDC) Program (Girls U13)
Regional Talent ID Camps (U13-U17)
The Talent ID Camps are training sessions and matches held during School Holidays to identify and develop our talented players.
Identified players are selected to train at a training camp and will play matches against other regions at the TIDC gala day to be held at a centralised location.
Players who are not selected after the first trial can still be identified in the club environment and invited into the Talent ID Camp.
FV Regional Talent ID Pathways Information
The Regional Talent ID Camps will also assist in the identification of players throughout the season & form part of the development & selection process for FV representative squads, FV Talent ID Matches, FA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) Matches & tournament selection opportunities (FA National Youth Championships -Boys for 2010 & 2009 born).
Regional Talent ID -Development Squads
Select Players will also be invited for Regional Camp Development Squads, these players will attend Camps during holidays but will not participate in State Gala Days.
Regional Trial Process
Players can be invited to trial for the program through:
- Participation Regional Talent ID Program in the previous year
- Nomination by their club (Clubs are limited in their number of nominations)
- Identification through FV Scouting Network
All registered players will receive further trial information after the registration period is closed.
