Football Victoria acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands across Victoria on which football is played.
We recognise and respect their continuing cultural and spiritual connection to Country, which has been maintained for generations, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We extend this acknowledgement to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples throughout Victoria.
Football Victoria understands the importance of reconciliation and the role we can all play in continuing to learn, listen and take action. We are committed to fostering respect, recognition and meaningful inclusion for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across all levels of football in Victoria.
