Football Victoria is excited to offer FV SAP Centres for identified U9-12 Victorian boys and girls.
The Centres will be operating out of the Home of the Matildas, Darebin International Sports Centre (DISC) and Knox Regional Football Centre.
FV SAP Centres are part time programs, working in conjunction with clubs to identify and develop potentially talented Victorian players. Players train one night a week with their allocated squad in their area, with all players required to train and play matches with their current club.
Players that are looking to participate in the FV SAP Centres will need to be nominated by their local club.
All clubs will be sent nomination information in early 2025 with instructions on how to nominate their players for a trial.
Nomination for a trial does not guarantee selection into the program, and all players will need to participate in a trial overseen by FV coaches and staff.
Trials will take place from February 2025.
Clubs can nominate a maximum of the following for a trial:
- Up to 3 players + 1 goalkeeper per age group for boys 2016 born to 2013 born.
- Up to 3 players + 1 goalkeeper per age group for girls 2016 born to 2013 born.
