On October 29, following the Victorian State Government's latest update, Football Victoria (FV) was delighted to release a new Return to Play Conditions (RTP) signalling the return of football.
The football community has universally welcomed the easing of restrictions and embraced the opportunity to get active and reconnect with teammates. But despite the overwhelming positivity, regulations do still exist and we understand that many in our football community might have questions around the specifics of RTP.
To ensure that everyone can return to the pitch with confidence and clarity, FV is hosting a series of interactive online RTP Stakeholder Workshops.
These workshops will be highly engaging and provide people with the opportunity to directly communicate with FV. Each workshop will have a particular theme and be hosted by a specialist FV staff member(s) who will be able to clarify RTP details to help facilitate a safe return to football.
The RTP Stakeholder Workshops will take place at the following dates and times.
• Wednesday 3 November 2PM: Futsal
• Friday 5 November 12PM: Local Government Authorities
• Monday 8 November 12PM: Local Government Authorities
• Wednesday 10 November 7:30PM: Football Associations
• Friday 12 November 12PM: Metro & Regional Clubs
• Monday 15 November 7:30PM: Metro & Regional Clubs
Please note: There is no requirement to register for a workshop. The workshops will be held on Microsoft Teams. If you are a member of one of the stakeholder groups, you are welcome to attend by clicking the respective link, fond above at the time of the workshop.
We look forward to assisting the Victorian football community return to football safely and with compliance to State Government Restrictions. If you have any questions please contact ClubSupport@footballvictoria.com.au
