2024 Country Leagues Football Association Championships

The 2024 Country Leagues Football Association (CLFA) Championships are set to take place from June 8-10 at Football Federation Sunraysia.

Over 70 teams from Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Latrobe Valley, Gippsland, Southwest Association Shepparton, Mildura, and Albury-Wodonga will gather in Mildura for three days of action-packed football across 11 age groups.

Competition Age Groups:

  • Girls: U12, U14, U16, U18
  • Boys: U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U18

CLFA President Mark Leman expressed his gratitude to all the participating teams for their commitment and effort.

"We are getting people here from the furthest geographical points of the state. For some, it will be a 10-hour round trip," he explained. "We want to thank everyone for making that significant commitment and wish everyone safe travels to and from the tournament.

"On behalf of the committee, I also wanted to thank Susan Watts, Football Federation Sunraysia Coordinator, and the Sunraysia football community for making the long-weekend possible."

Ahead of the competition, Leman emphasised the importance of respect and inclusion throughout the weekend.

"The most important message is that we want friendly competition across the Championships. We also want to make sure we thank the referees because, without them, there is no tournament."

The 2025 edition of the tournament will be held in Albury-Wodonga.
