More Information on the Football For All Gala Day!

This event promises a day filled with football, community engagement, and inclusive activities that celebrate the diversity and unity of the Victorian football community. The event’s core principles are unity, inclusivity, and community, aiming to strengthen bonds by bringing together participants, families, supporters, and partner organizations from across the state.

FV’s Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator, Selin Arpaci, emphasised the significance of the event for the broader Victorian football community.

"There are over 20 clubs in Victoria that run an All-Abilities program, and this Gala Day provides a unique platform to showcase the incredible benefits these programs offer," she said.

"It’s not just about the game; it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and community among participants. This event is a wonderful opportunity for clubs to witness firsthand the positive impact that inclusive football programs have, not only on the players but also on their families and supporters and partners."

The 2024 Football For All Gala Day will feature a variety of activities designed to celebrate inclusion and community. Highlights include friendly matches between clubs, an exhibition match between the Victorian Para State Team and the Victorian Athletes with Disability (AWD) Futsal Team, and a Blind Football training session. Attendees can also enjoy Western United FC player appearances, Melbourne Victory FC clinics, sensory-friendly spaces, and a range of fun activities like face painting, inflatables, and a raffle with exciting prizes.

FV extends heartfelt thanks to our valued partners and sponsors who have been instrumental in making this event a true celebration of inclusive football. A special thanks to our Silver sponsors: JaeMan Support, for their exceptional care for individuals with disabilities, and MyAutonomy, for their seamless NDIS plan management services. We also appreciate our Bronze sponsor: Direct Care Assistance, for providing personalized disability care services.
