Football Victoria (FV) welcomed over 200 clubs and approximately 1,000 football community members to The Home of The Matildas (HoTM) for the 2025 Football Victoria Experience (FVX), a unique opportunity to engage in pre-season education and development.
Guests had the opportunity to speak directly with FV staff members and departments, attend workshops, information sessions, and panels, watch a variety of on-field sessions, and tour the facilities at the HoTM.
FVX is more than just an educational experience; it's a chance for clubs to learn and grow, supported by FV's wide array of initiatives and programs. The goal of FVX is for attendees to walk away equipped with valuable tools to enhance their operations, whether that be in leadership development, player engagement strategies, or creating more inclusive environments.
FV Head of Growth and Development Lachlan Cole spoke on the importance of hosting these events and giving clubs all the information they need to grow and evolve.
"The Football Victoria Experience has been a fantastic showcase of our commitment to growing the game, connecting with our clubs, and creating more opportunities for our clubs to learn and develop both on and off the field."
"We’re extremely excited to keep building on this momentum throughout 2025 and we hope that all who attended were able to take away some great learnings."
Running alongside FVX was the Victorian Cup of Nations (VCON), a festival of football that celebrates the rich cultural diversity within the Victorian football landscape.
With support from the Victorian State Government, VCON brings together teams from various cultural backgrounds to showcase their passion for the game while honoring their unique traditions and customs. It’s a true reflection of football’s power to unite diverse communities, and FVX participants were able to witness this vibrant festival firsthand.
