2025 NPLM Fan Predictions Results

In December 2024, we asked fans to predict key outcomes for the 2025 NPL Men's Victoria season. The results are in, and it's clear the upcoming season is generating a lot of anticipation.

For the NPLM Gold Medal, Joe Guest topped the list with 13.2% of the votes, followed closely by Preston Lions' Connor Bell, who received 11.3%. Lloyd Isgrove and Aamir Abdallah rounded out the predictions with 7.5% and 3.8%, respectively, indicating a strong competition for the top individual award.

In the Golden Boot race, Alex Salmon came out on top with 10.7% of the votes. Connor Bell and Rob Harker both earned 7.1%, while Josh Bingham followed with 5.4%. Zander Guy and Lloyd Isgrove each received 3.6%. With Jonas Markovski, the 2023 Golden Boot winner, returning to Preston Lions, the race for the top scorer looks set to be even more intense.

The Breakout Player category was close, with Connor Bell and Emie Peios each receiving 6.3% of the votes. Joseph Forde followed with 4.2%, highlighting the excitement around these players potentially making a significant impact this season.

When it comes to the NPLM Championship, South Melbourne was the clear favourite, securing 24.7% of the votes. Preston Lions followed with 17.3%, while Avondale received 12.3%. Heidelberg and Hume both received 8.6%, with Oakleigh Cannons (7.4%) and Green Gully (6.2%) rounding out the list.
