The 2025 edition of the Women’s Football Carnival of Nations (WFCON) reached a thrilling conclusion on Sunday, November 2, at The Home of The Matildas (HoTM), capping off a stellar three weeks of football.

Since its inception in 2019, WFCON has established itself as a key event on Victoria’s football calendar. The tournament continues to celebrate diversity and inclusion, offering players from all backgrounds the opportunity to represent a nation and play with pride.

Tournament founder Georg Robers said the tournament captured what football is all about; playing with friends, having fun, and enjoying the game together.

“This fun tournament is a wonderful opportunity for every player to play football with their friends, introduce those new to football and reconnect with previous players,” he said.
