Football Victoria (FV) is pleased to release the 2026 Provisional Division Structures for VETO SPORTS State League Women 2-8!
The 2026 Provisional Division Structures have been determined considering the Rules of Competition and the Order of Merit Process.
2026 Provisional Declaration of Structures
A reminder, in 2026, the State League Competitions will transition to a new structure, expanding to eight divisions for SLW, from the current five division format.
This will see all Leagues within each Division zoned as North-West and South-East throughout the entire State Leagues football pyramid.
To clarify, the calculation of these travel distances (km) between Clubs in the same Division when creating Leagues is based on their primary home venue. This will be calculated to ensure holistically, the Clubs within each Division travel as least as possible.
To reiterate, the released Division Structures are Provisional and may be subject to change due to but not limited to, withdrawals and/or new vacancies.
League Structures are at FV’s absolute discretion and may be altered in accordance with the Rules of Competition and/or the Order of Merit Process.
As a reminder, The Declaration of Final Leagues will be determined following the Team Entry Period. All State League Women’s (SLW) Clubs will be required to confirm their team participation during the Team Entry Period in February 2026. Clubs seeking to enter a new SLW team may do so during this period.
