The Football For All Gala Day returns for its eighth edition at The Home of The Matildas on Saturday, September 5, bringing together 28 All Abilities teams from 16 clubs across the state for a celebration of football, inclusion and community.
This annual event is a key date on Football Victoria’s calendar, highlighting the importance of access and opportunity for all participants in the game. Whether you're a player, parent, volunteer or supporter, the day offers a chance to connect, learn and celebrate the power of football to bring people together.

Activities happening on the day
- Inclusive matches and clinics for players of all ages
- Grand finals for the Senior Division of the All Abilities League
- ParaRoos player appearances
- Fun activities including inflatables, face painting
- Quiet rooms and fully accessible facilities for all participants
- Football Victoria All Abilities Football Skills clinics (All Ages)
Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the event, with a café and food truck on-site offering refreshments for attendees.
Public Transport
If you’re travelling to the event by public transport, Macleod Station is the closest train station to the venue. A number of tram and bus services also operate nearby, including the Route 86 tram, which stops at Browning St/Plenty Road Stop #58, as well as the Route 30 and Route 561 buses, which both stop at Browning St/Plenty Road.
Car Parking
If you’re travelling to the event by car, there are more than 200 parking spaces available along Sports Drive. Parking across the university is free on weekends. As the event is expected to attract a large number of attendees, parking along Sports Drive is likely to fill quickly, with overflow parking available once the main car park reaches capacity.
Accessible Parking
More than 30 accessible parking bays are located close to the venue entrance and are reserved for holders of an accessible parking permit. Please have your permit ready to present to the security guard when accessing these spaces.
Drop-Off Zone
A designated drop-off zone is available in the five-minute bay area, with Ubers, taxis and other rideshare vehicles permitted to use the area. The accessible parking and drop-off zone will be monitored by a security guard throughout the event.

These clinics are suitable for players who prefer to participate in beginner-friendly skills clinics, suitable to all levels & abilities, and ran by experienced Football Victoria Sporting Schools Coaches Kam and Zaid.

- An Auslan Interpreter will be present at the clinic
