Morshead Park was the place to be for a big day of Greater Ballarat finals football. 12 Grand Finals were played across the day, with plenty of close games and new champions crowned.
The day began with the Under 12 and Under 13 deciders, with Victoria Park FC, Ballarat City FC, Forest Rangers SC and Kyneton District SC among the early winners.

Victoria Park FC claimed the Mixed Under 12B title after a 3-2 win over Sebastopol Vikings SC, while Forest Rangers SC took out the Mixed Under 12A competition with a 4-1 victory over Victoria Park FC.
Kyneton District SC also secured an Under 12 title, defeating Epsom FC 3-0 in the Mixed Under 12C Grand Final.
Ballarat City FC were crowned Girls’ Under 13 champions after a 3-0 win over Victoria Park FC.
The Under 14 competitions produced two close contests, with Sebastopol Vikings SC edging Victoria Park FC 5-4 in the Mixed Under 14B final, while Spring Gully United SC Jets defeated Castlemaine Goldfields FC Green 2-1 in the Mixed Under 14C decider.
Victoria Park FC added another title with a 4-0 win over Forest Rangers SC in the Mixed Under 14A Grand Final, while Golden City SC U14A defeated Spring Gully United SC Rangers 6-4 on penalties.
Bacchus Marsh SC claimed the Mixed Under 16 title, defeating Ballarat SC 2-0, while Ballarat City FC U15 recorded a 2-0 win over Ballarat SC in the Girls’ Under 15 Grand Final.
The senior competitions rounded out the day, with Ballarat North United SC Seniors 2 defeating Bacchus Marsh SC Senior Men Reserves 3-0 in the Senior Men’s League 2 final before Maryborough SC Seniors 3 defeated Ballarat North United SC Seniors 3 4-2 in the Senior Men’s League 3 decider.
Forest Rangers SC Women claimed the Senior Women’s League title after a 3-2 penalty shootout win over Sebastopol Vikings SC Women.
The final senior decider saw Ballarat North United SC Seniors 1 defeat Creswick SC Seniors 1 2-1 to claim the Senior Men’s League 1 championship.
Across the day, the Greater Ballarat Finals produced plenty of close contests, with extra time and penalties adding to the drama across several of the Grand Finals.
