Football Victoria (FV) has released the Senol National Premier Leagues Victoria Men's Official Season Guide for the 2026 season.
Serving as an accompaniment for all media covering the NPL Senior Men’s competition in Victoria, the sixth edition of the Official Season Guide marks the first season that both the NPLM and NPLW Official Season Guides have been released as a bundle, coinciding with simultaneous season kick-offs for the first time in history.
Building upon the extensive head-to-head rivalries which were showcased in explicit detail in 2025, this season's NPLM edition brings to life the legacy of returning top-flight clubs, NPL debutants and a complete update of appearance records for all fourteen squads.
Compiled by FV's Historian, Tony Persoglia, the Official Season Guide provides a comprehensive 258-page publication unrivalled in the NPL football landscape, and 2026 is particularly poignant given the historical context.
This season marks the 50th year of official records for the Men’s top-flight, which extends from the Victorian State League in 1976, the debut of the Victorian Premier League in 1991 to this year’s edition of the National Premier Leagues Victoria, now in its thirteenth iteration. Football Victoria owes much to the meticulous research of Life Member John Punshon, who leaves a lasting legacy across two decades of unparalleled research.
