Reigning champions Calder United SC will take on South Melbourne FC in a blockbuster Sunday afternoon showdown for the coveted Nike F.C. Cup.
The teams booked their places in the upcoming Grand Final after a brilliant double header event at David Barro Stadium on Sunday, where Calder defeated Box Hill United 2-0 and South Melbourne overpowered Bulleen Lions 5-1.

South Melbourne's strong cup run continued following the team's dominant league form in 2021. The side was leading the NPLW prior to the season cancellation with only a single loss on their record.
Calder also impressed in 2021 and were hot on the heels of the league leaders in third place. The only competitive meeting between the two sides this year occurred way back in April, where South Melbourne edged Calder 3-2 in a Round 2 NPLW thriller.
