Dandenong Thunder has announced Adam Piddick as Senior Men's Head Coach on the eve of the 2024 NPLM season.
The Thunder finished eighth on the NPLM table in 2023, with 10 wins from 26 matches.
In a post on the Dandenong Facebook Page, the Thunder said they were "thrilled" to welcome Adam Piddick as their new Senior Head Coach.
"With a stellar coaching record, including being crowned the 2022 NPL Coach of the Year, Adam brings dedication and expertise to our Club," the statement read.
Piddick ended a six-year tenure with Port Melbourne after the 2023 season, where he achieved significant milestones, contributing to the club’s continued growth and success.
Under his leadership, Port Melbourne achieved their highest finish in the NPLM, securing second place on the table.
The appointment follows David Chick and the Thunder parting ways after the 2023 season and his replacement Samson Elmazi stepping down due to personal reasons.
