Football Victoria (FV) invites suitably qualified coaches to express interest in available coaching positions within the Skill Acquisition Phase (SAP) and Talent Identification and Development Centre (TIDC) Boys programs for the 2023 season and beyond.
The FV SAP (U9-12) & TIDC Boys (U13-18) programs are part-time training programs for invited boys and girls, that work as additional development & identification opportunities to complement club training.
The purpose of the position is to learn to provide high-quality coaching and training for identified youth players, facilitating development and identification throughout the program’s duration. For eligible age groups, this includes Victorian representative selection & National team selection for competitions & tournaments.
Candidates will be able to make use of The Home of the Matildas precinct from mid-2023; following the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023™.
The site is the largest football-specific infrastructure project in Australia’s history and will ultimately become the home base for all of the state’s major football programs.
Over 80% of the project budget is dedicated to facilities that are accessible by the football community, who will be able to experience this world-class facility - with bookings available at a heavily discounted price.
In 2022, FV's Talented Player programs held tournaments and gala days for both metro and regional Victoria, alongside our annual FV International Showcase event. This gave staff from our talented player programs exposure to high-level coaches, players and alternate approaches to player development and talent identification.
