Football Victoria (FV) today conducted the Australia Cup Preliminary Round 6 Draw. A total of 20 teams were involved, with Clubs from ranging from the NPLM Victoria to the State League 2.
Men's State League 2 (MSL) side FC Clifton Hill will head into their Round 6 clash full of confidence. Although technically the lowest ranked team left from Victoria, the Club is putting together a remarkable run - most recently defeating NPLM's Port Melbourne Sharks.
MSL1 side Brimbank Stallions FC also pulled off a thrilling cupset to book a spot in Round 6, downing top-tier opposition Altona Magic 2-0. Brimbank are one of four MSL sides to progress to this stage of the tournament.
The MSL Clubs in today's draw were joined by nine top-tier NPL sides and three each from the NPL2 and NPL3.
FV will work with clubs to confirm fixture times and dates. Once confirmed, fixtures will be published on the Australia Cup section of the Gameday website.
