Football Victoria (FV) is delighted to announce a new 4-year partnership with Belgravia Apparel delivering New Balance branded referee apparel.
This exciting new partnership will see FV’s referees join FV staff, Academy teams/programs and representative squads wear New Balance uniforms and playing kits.
Football Victoria Head of Referees & Discipline Tom Elliott is thrilled with the decision and believes it is a big win for everyone involved.
“After our most recent 3-year apparel agreement expired, it was important for us to explore all available options and select the most suitable partner.
This process considered a wide range of specifications and priorities, with the final product being designed with the FV Referee community at the centre of our focus.
After listening to the feedback from our referees, we wanted to make sure that the new partner offered the best quality, affordability, longevity and value.
This exciting partnership with Belgravia Apparel provides the best overall proposition for FV Referees and will enable us to support our match officials more than ever before.”
The agreement with Belgravia Apparel will also provide all referees with access to a 30% discount via newbalance.com.au, to be shared with referees who register for season 2027.
Football Victoria CEO Dan Birrell emphasised the benefits of an exclusive and single apparel partner in Belgravia Apparel.
"Since our initial partnership commenced in December last year, we have enjoyed a terrific relationship with the team at Belgravia Apparel, the collaboration, quality of product and value is second to none.
"With our referees set to don New Balance apparel for at least the next four years, this means the entire FV brand is aligned both on and off the pitch in a true team effort representing the breadth of Victorian football - a fantastic result.
"I'd like to thank Belgravia Apparel for their on-going support and extend that appreciation to our referees who played a key role in testing the new referees kits which we look forward to launching in the coming days."
We look forward to launching the first Football Victoria Referees New Balance kit ahead of the 2027 season.
