Boys & Girls FC Traralgon was once again a resounding success, taking over Gippsland for another action-packed weekend of football.
This year’s event saw 423 players and families converge on Traralgon, with 42 teams competing in one of the biggest editions of the tournament yet.
Football Victoria Participation and Programs Manager Alex Dore said it was “fantastic to once again host Boys & Girls FC Gippsland in Traralgon for the third-year running.”
“The event brought together hundreds of young players for a weekend full of football, teamwork, and fun,” Dore said.
“The atmosphere across both host clubs Traralgon Olympians and Traralgon City was incredible, and it was great to see so many smiling faces enjoying the game.”
A huge thank you goes to Latrobe City Council for their ongoing support, and to Mayor Cr. Dale Harriman for joining Football Victoria at the presentation ceremonies.
Football Victoria also extends its gratitude to Traralgon Olympians and Traralgon City, who once again did an exceptional job as host clubs.
“It’s always a pleasure to bring this competition to the Gippsland region and celebrate the passion for football in our community,” Dore added.
