Football Victoria (FV) wishes to announce a further call to fill outstanding Zone Representative and Standing Committee vacancies.
Despite a strong response in the recent Member Elections nomination process, the following vacancies remain:
- Zone Representative – Loddon Mallee
- Zone Representative – Wimmera South Coast
- Coaches Standing Committee – up to 5 positions
Clubs located in the above two zones are encouraged to nominate individuals for the Zone Representative positions using the following form:
Coaches are encourage to nominate for the Coaches Standing Committee using the following form:
In the event that a vacancy is oversubscribed as a result of this process, then nominations will be ranked and determined by the independent returning officer according to the following criteria (the same criteria as utilised in the previous 2019 casual vacancy process):
1. Where possible, endeavouring to achieve the preferred gender balance of 40/40/20.
2. Where possible, prioritising candidates who are not current FV Zone Representatives or Standing Committee members to increase voices across the FV Congress.
3. Prioritising candidates who have not previously been Standing Committee members.
Polls shall close at 5pm (AEST) on Friday, 14 February 2020.
