CCC Program reaches 300 coaches engaged

Football Victoria is championing the next generation of female coaches with the exciting launch of the FV COACHER Program, an initiative providing fully funded access to the Foundation of Football and other coaching courses.

The COACHER initiative is part of FV’s broader mission to empower grassroots coaches and create welcoming football environments across Victoria. It builds on the success of the CCC Program, which has just surpassed a major milestone—engaging over 300 club coaches this year.

CCC Program Manager Rob Taylor shared his excitement on the milestone.
“Honestly, we cannot believe we’ve had face-to-face contact with over 300 coaches already. The junior season hasn’t even kicked off yet,” he said.

Applications are now open and close 11:59pm, Tuesday 15 April.

As part of the CCC (Club Coach Coordinator) Program, selected female coaches are now being offered an incredible opportunity to develop their skills and confidence in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The CCC Program was launched to provide targeted support to new and inexperienced coaches, helping them feel more confident and stay in the game longer.

Support packages range from online guidance in the Basic package to full in-person support in the Gold package, which includes coaching workshops and access to FV’s planned Community Coaching Conference.

FV is aiming to have the program running in 250 clubs by the end of 2027—a target that now feels well within reach.
