The 2026 FV Sunraysia season wrapped up in style on Sunday, with the region’s best teams battling it out at Soccer Park, Old Aerodrome Ovals for a full day of Grand Final action.
From the junior age groups through to the senior competitions, seven Grand Finals delivered plenty of drama, including a penalty shootout, extra-time winner and several closely fought contests.

Irymple Knights enjoyed a memorable day across the senior competitions, claiming both the Senior Women’s League and Men’s Reserves League titles. The Knights’ women defeated Mildura City SC 2-0, while the Reserves edged their Irymple counterparts 3-2 in an all-Knights decider.
The Senior Men’s League provided the day’s final piece of drama, with Mildura City SC eventually overcoming Irymple Knights 4-3 on penalties after the two sides could not be separated.
Three Colours SC also finished the season with two pieces of silverware, winning both of their Grand Finals.
Their Under 14 side produced one of the day’s tightest results, defeating Mildura City SC 1-0 after extra time. The club’s Under 12B side then followed suit, edging Mildura City SC 4-3 in another closely fought contest.
Nichols Point SC claimed the Mixed Under 12A championship after a narrow 1-0 win over Irymple Knights.
Irymple would have their moment later in the junior program, with their Under 16 side defeating Mildura City SC 2-0 to round out the day’s champions.
