The first Football Victoria Business League, Powered by Sharp EIT, event for 2026 was held last week and gave members in attendance the opportunity to further their communications and negotiations skills.
Anchored by a star-studded panel of Australian football legend Mark Bosnich, former hostage negotiator Belinda Neil and NBL CEO David Stevenson, the conversation at The Edge at Federation Square covered topics like locker room interactions, contract negotiations and navigating life and death situations.
The event started with an opportunity for attendees to network together before host Nat Yoannidis got proceedings underway, facilitating a fascinating conversation between three insightful panelists.
Football Victoria Commercial and Facilities Manager Chris Speldewinde was thrilled with how the day panned out.
"Today we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a panel covering the power of persuassion and influence and I think eveyone here will agree that it was fantastic.
"I'd like to thank out incredible panel, Belinda, Dave and Mark for sharing their stories and insights on the topic and our brilliant host Nat for running the show like a pro.
"And of course, I'd like to give a massive shout out to our partners and all of our club affiliates who attended today."
