Football Victoria, in partnership with School Sport Victoria, is pleased to announce that team entries are now open for the 2026 School Futsal Championships.
The annual competition provides students from across Victoria with the opportunity to represent their school in an exciting, fast-paced futsal environment, bringing together schools from across the state for a memorable day of competition.
The 2026 program will once again feature competitions for both mainstream and specialist schools.
Mainstream Schools Competition
The Mainstream Schools Competition is open to students in:
- Grade 5 & 6 Girls
- Grade 5 & 6 Boys
- Year 7 & 8 Girls
- Year 7 & 8 Boys
Competition Dates
- North/West, Monday, 19 October, La Trobe Sports Stadium, Bundoora
- South/East, Tuesday, 20 October, Dandenong Oasis (South East Leisure), Dandenong
Specialist Schools Competition
Football Victoria is proud to continue its dedicated Specialist Schools Competition, providing students from specialist settings with the opportunity to participate in a structured, mixed-gender futsal competition.
The competition is open to students in Years 7, 8 and 9, with teams consisting of a minimum of seven players.
Competition Dates
- South/East, Tuesday, 27 October, Dandenong Oasis (South East Leisure), Dandenong
- North/West, Wednesday, 28 October, La Trobe Sports Stadium, Bundoora
Semi-finals and finals will be played on the same day as each regional competition.
Team Entry
The team entry fee for both the Mainstream and Specialist Schools competitions is $300 per team (inclusive of GST).
