Football Victoria (FV) has today released its Player Registration, Team Entry and Referee Match payment fees for the 2027 season.
With cost-of-living pressures continuing to impact Victorians, keeping football as affordable and accessible as possible has remained a key consideration in setting fees for the coming season.
For 2027, FV Player Registration Fees will increase by approximately 3% - below the current rate of inflation - equating to an increase of between $1 and $6 per player.
The 2027 FV Player Registration Fees are:
- Community & Advanced MiniRoos: $62 (up from $60)
- Community & Advanced Juniors: $103 (up from $100)
- Community & Advanced Seniors: $206 (up from $200)
- Futsal & Social Juniors: $31 (up from $30)
- Futsal & Social Seniors: $41 (up from $40)
- All Abilities: Remain unchanged from 2026
Team Entry Fees will also increase by 3% on average across FV competitions. Individual increases vary by competition, with some fees remaining unchanged and others increasing by a maximum of 5%.
Following careful review and reflecting the adjustments made in recent seasons, referee match payments will remain unchanged for the 2027 season.
Football Victoria CEO Dan Birrell reinforced affordability as a key consideration in determining the 2027 fee structure.
“We know that the cost of participating in football is one of many expenses being managed by families and clubs, particularly at a time when costs continue to rise across the community.
“While FV is also experiencing increased costs in delivering and administering football, it was important that we kept affordability front and centre when setting our fees for 2027.
“Our 2027 fee structure seeks an appropriate balance between managing the increasing cost of delivering football and limiting the additional impact on our clubs, players and families.”
FV Player Registration and Team Entry Fees support the administration and delivery of football across Victoria, including competition management and fixturing for over 330 clubs, competition rules and policies, referee scheduling, coach administration, education and accreditation, finance administration, marketing and communications, player dispensation requests, discipline processes, council liaison, government advocacy and club support services.
Football Australia’s National Registration Fees for the 2027 season are separate to FV fees and will be confirmed by Football Australia in due course.
