The fixtures for the Hahn Australia Cup 2025 Round of 16 have been revealed following the Official Draw last night, and there will be plenty of knock-out football for Victorian fans to enjoy.
Fresh off their strong performance in Tasmania, South Melbourne will now host Izuzu Ute A-League Premiers and Hahn Australia Cup newcomers Auckland FC.
They weren't the only of our remaining Victorian sides to draw A-League competition in the Round of 16, as Heidelberg United will take on Western Sydney Wanderers at home and Nunawading City will hope to keep their dream run alive at home against Wellington Phoenix.
Our last remaining team, Avondale FC, took down Stirling Macedonia in the Round of 32 and will be looking forward to another home game when they welcome APIA Leichhardt, fresh off their upset over Melbourne City, to Melbourne.

Potential matchups for the Quarter Finals were also drawn, with some really juicy hypothetical games on the horizon.
Should South Melbourne get the Round of 16 win over Auckland FC, they will host the winner between Sydney United 58 FC and Sydney FC in Quarter Final 2. A Round of 16 win for Avondale sets up a home Quarter Final against the winner of Brisbane City FC and Olympic Kingsway FC in Quarter Final 4. The only potential all-Victorian Quarter Final we could see is if both Heidelberg and Nunawading win their Round of 16 fixtures and met in Quarter Final 3.
Excitingly, we now also know that the winners of Quarter Final 2 and 4 will host the Semi-Finals, setting up two potential Victorian Semis.
The Hahn Australia Cup 2025 Round of 16 will be played over four (4) days from 9-13 August 2025.
It’s anticipated that venues, dates and timings for the Round of 16 will be made available week commencing 4 August, as Football Australia works with participating clubs and Member Federations to navigate ground availability.
