Football Victoria is proud to present a Para Engagement Round as part of Round 7 of the All Abilities League Junior & Youth divisions, hosted by Frankston Pines Soccer Club on Saturday July 25.
The themed round aims to celebrate Para Football, promote inclusion, and inspire more children and young people with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, or stroke-related symptoms to explore opportunities within the game.
As part of the day, Football Victoria's Para Football players and a ParaMatilda will be in attendance, giving participants and families the opportunity to meet current para athletes, hear about their football journeys, and learn more about the opportunities available within para football.
The Para Engagement Round will also be used to raise awareness of Football Victoria's upcoming Para Pathways Clinics, providing children and young people with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, or stroke-related symptoms with an opportunity to explore the para football pathway.

The Para Engagement Round will coincide with an exciting milestone for Frankston Pines Soccer Club, who will officially launch their new cerebral palsy football program for children and young people.
To celebrate, the club has organised a fantastic day of football and community activities, including:
- A special appearance from a ParaMatilda
- Beyond the Limits – a Cerebral Palsy Football Showcase
- Come-and-try football sessions for children with cerebral palsy
- Face painting
- Bracelet making
- Colouring competition
- Free sausage sizzle
- Community market stalls
- Fairy Floss
- Jumping Castle
Whether you're interested in trying CP football for the first time, meeting members of Victoria's para football community, or simply enjoying a fun day of inclusive football, everyone is encouraged to come along and be part of the celebrations.
Children and young people with cerebral palsy are invited to register for the club's come-and-try sessions and experience the game in a welcoming, supportive environment while learning about the opportunities available through both Frankston Pines Soccer Club's new CP football program and Football Victoria's upcoming Para Pathways Clinics.
