The 2026 FV Gippsland Grand Finals brought two big days of football across the region, with nine Championships decided at Trafalgar Recreation Reserve and the Lang Lang Community Recreation Precinct.
Saturday’s action at Trafalgar began with Trafalgar Victory claiming the Under 12B title, defeating Drouin Dragons 4-1.
Drouin Dragons then responded in the Under 12A Mixed Grand Final, cruising to a 6-0 win over Wonthaggi United.
The Senior Men’s Reserve Grand Final produced a much tighter contest, with Phillip Island edging Drouin Dragons 2-1.
Drouin’s Women then claimed the Senior Women’s Championship, defeating Leongatha Knights 3-1.
The final match of Saturday saw Phillip Island complete another Grand Final victory, edging Drouin Dragons 1-0 in the Senior Men’s decider.
The Grand Finals continued on Sunday at Lang Lang, beginning with the Under 12 Girls, where Inverloch Stars defeated Wonthaggi United 4-2 on penalties after the Grand Final was decided from the spot.
Drouin Dragons then claimed the Under 15 Girls Championship with a 6-1 victory over Phillip Island.
Wonthaggi United secured the Under 14 Mixed title after defeating Phillip Island 5-1.
The weekend concluded with another Grand Final victory for Drouin Dragons, who defeated Leongatha Knights 6-0 in the Under 17 Mixed decider.
Across nine Grand Finals, the weekend showcased the depth of football across FV Gippsland, with clubs from across the region competing for Championship honours and providing a fitting conclusion to the 2026 season.
