It was a proud moment for our state and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.”

The event wasn’t just about the matches, as this year FV-introduced family-friendly activities such as cooking classes and bracelet-making, transforming the venue into a hub of engagement and entertainment.

Pafralis noted, “We had a record number of teams competing in a fierce and exciting competition, showcasing the best futsal talent from across the country. This year, we introduced new elements to the event, including fun activations that made the State Sports Centre a hub for families. It was a place where you could spend the entire day, enjoying activities and experiencing the thrill of top-tier futsal matches.”

In addition to the on-court action, the tournament celebrated the contributions of match officials, recognising outstanding performances with awards such as the Ian Timms Rookie Referee of the Tournament and Referee of the Tournament, which went to Jessica Jensen and Andrew Best.
