Goals a-plenty at the 2025 State Futsal Championships

Eight new champions have been crowned at the 2025 State Futsal Championships over the weekend, as 44 teams across 8 competitions battled it out at La Trobe Indoor Sports Stadium.

Football Victoria (FV) Futsal Coordinator Jimmy Soufis said that this was the strongest showing yet of the calibre of futsal being played in Victoria and was thrilled with how the Championships were run.

"Every year the State Futsal Championships continues to grow, and every year the standard of futsal being played at the tournament continues to improve. It's brilliant to see and a great sign of the future this sport has in Victoria.

"It's been a big year for the sport in this state, with Melbourne hosting the National Futsal Championships in January, so we'll continue to build from here."
