HeadSafe presentation books out, second session to be added soon

Football Victoria (FV) recently invited coaches, clubs and other key stakeholders to attend a Headsafe presentation, addressing the health impacts associated with heading in football.

We're thrilled to announce that the presentation has now been booked out, but due to high demand a second session will be scheduled.

Headsafe was founded by Dr Judith Gates, a passionate advocate for the health and safety of athletes. Judith's son, Nick Gates will deliver the presentation alongside sports scientist Lou Crawford.

Football Victoria acknowledges Coaches Standing Committee Chair Ian Greener, who has organised the event and has coordinated various football related discussions for a number of years.

Headsafe is designed to be an interactive presentation, where attendees can discuss and communicate with the hosts.

The initial presentation is scheduled for July 9, however due to an overwhelming response some guests will be placed on the list for Headsafe 2, the date and time of which will be announced shortly.

To register your interest in attending the next presentation, or for any questions about the event please email Ian Greener at greener_ian@yahoo.com.au
