Football Victoria (FV) is proud to announce a new Athletes with a Disability (AWD) Futsal program to support players who wish to develop their skills in a competitive environment.
The program follows the FV AWD team's inspiring third place finish in January's National Futsal Championships. The highly experienced and respected David O’Connor will act as Head Coach for the program.
The AWD division is designed for players with a disability or impairment, is open age and mixed gendered. 2023 was the first year FV organised and entered a team in the National Championships.
The first three sessions in April, May and June will be held at Springer’s Leisure Centre, Keysborough, and the last three sessions in July, August and September will be held at La Trobe University Sports Centre, Bundoora.
