Football Victoria (FV) can confirm that Preston Lions Football Club has initiated legal proceedings against FV, related to the status of the 2021 NPL3 Victoria season.
This case has been listed in the Supreme Court for urgent hearing.
FV will vigorously defend its position and ensure that this matter does not impact on significant preparations underway by both the Clubs and FV for the 2022 season.
FV will provide an update when possible, however no further comment will be made while this matter is before the courts.
