On the last weekend of June, Mill Park SC proudly hosted the 10th edition of the Mill Park MiniRoos Cup at Patridge Street Reserve.
The tournament was a roaring success, featuring 96 teams and 184 thrilling games in the U8-12 age groups, with over 600 goals scored across the weekend.
Mill Park SC President Jimmy Christou extended heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the tournament.
"Despite the wet weather, it was fantastic to see all the junior and MiniRoos players out on the grounds enjoying themselves," he said.
"With the redevelopment of our grounds and a new synthetic pitch in 2025, we aim to make it an even bigger tournament next year. See you all then!"

A milestone for the tournament was the remarkable increase in female participation. In 2023, the event welcomed its first female participants with four U11 teams. This year, Mill Park SC tripled its female involvement, boasting eight U12 Girls teams and four U9 Girls teams, bringing the total to 12 female teams.
The success of the tournament was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Mill Park community, parents and volunteers played an integral role in making this event possible with games kicking off at 8 am and finals concluding at 8:30 pm.
