Nike FC Cup winners Calder United SC were flown to Sydney by Nike Football to play the Western Sydney Wanderers FC W-League team at the Wanderers new Centre of Football. The game finished 1-0 to WSW in their final hit out before the Westfield W-League season begins.
With several Calder players now having signed for W-League teams, some of Calder's younger players were able to take part in this valuable top-level experience.
All players also received new gear ahead of a screening of Westfield Matildas v Chile this afternoon.
