Preston announce new trio
February 10, 2025
Preston Lions have announced the signings of Elaina Vatcky, Eliza Ammendolia, and Valentine Pursey ahead of the 2025 season. Vatcky, who has over 10 years of experience in senior women's football, has had successful spells at Box Hill and Apia Leichhardt. Ammendolia joins the club after a stint in the A-League with Western Sydney Wanderers and playing college soccer for the University of Hawaii. Pursey arrives from England, where she played with Hashtag United and Lewes FC.

Essendon Royals has announced the re-signing goalkeeper Bethany Mason-Jones and the signing of midfielder Emma Langley. Langley joins the club after eight seasons plying her trade in the top-flight of women's football in Victoria, where she’s played for the likes of Heidelberg United, Box Hill United and most recently, Calder United. Mason-Jones returns after one of her best seasons to date, helping the Royals secure a finals birth and winning the Goalkeeper of the Year award for the NPLW.
