Football Victoria is pleased to release a summary report, following a review of Victoria’s National Training Centre (NTC) Girls Program.
Since 2017, FV has been operating the NTC programs with the aim of providing talented athletes with access to high-quality coaching, training, and playing environments.
In 2024, FV engaged Gemba to undertake a comprehensive review of the NTC Girls program. The review assessed several key areas of the programs, including:
- Effectiveness in athlete development, program management and structure
- Athlete wellbeing
- Adherence to policies and regulations
- Communication protocols and the overall experience of athletes and stakeholders
Gemba has made 20 recommendations mapped against review findings to ensure a high-performing, good governance culture within Football Victoria’s NTC Girls program. Please see summary below.
