Football Victoria (FV) can advise the outcome of legal proceedings initiated by Preston Lions Football Club against FV in the Supreme Court of Victoria, related to the status of the 2021 NPLM3 and VPLW seasons.
The Court yesterday dismissed the Preston Lions Football Club’s action against Football Victoria. The 2022 seasons will proceed as per the fixture released on 20 December 2021, commencing this weekend with our NPLM 2 and NPLM 3 competitions.
FV would like to acknowledge the efforts of our NPL and Competitions teams in developing the comprehensive policies and procedures that underpinned this decision and that continue to provide the framework for football in our state.
