The 2024 Football Victoria Corporate Cup brought together 22 teams from businesses across Victoria for an unforgettable day of football, camaraderie, and connection.
Held at The Home of The Matildas on Friday, November 29, the event showcased the perfect blend of enjoyment and competitive spirit.
Chris Speldewinde, FV Executive Manager – Commercial, expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic turnout.
“We were so fortunate to have such a large contingent of support for our annual Corporate Cup. We can’t thank all the teams who participated enough for their passion and commitment on the day. We look forward to doing it all again next year," he said.
This year’s champions, Phoenix Traffic & Labour, emerged victorious, against PARC in a thrilling final. The event highlighted not just football skills but businesses used the day as a unique opportunity for team building and networking.
Event Manager, Alex Dore also shared his excitement about the day.
“The 2024 Corporate Cup was a fantastic day of football and teamwork. It was great to see 22 teams come together at The Home of The Matildas for a fun and memorable event," he said.
Participating teams, like endota, relished the chance to strengthen bonds within their organisations - "The endota team loved kitting up and heading onto the field! The day was a fantastic way to network with other businesses and connect with our own team members.”
