The inaugural Premier Data Victorian Club State Championships (VCSC) kick off tomorrow at the La Trobe University Sports Precinct, bringing together more than 3,000 participants from across Victoria for an exciting new statewide club tournament.
Representing 175 teams from more than 60 clubs, the Championships are set to become one of Football Victoria's largest events since the opening of The Home of the Matildas in 2023, showcasing the best of community football across an action-packed weekend.
Football Victoria is thrilled to announce sports analytics specialists Premier Data are the official Naming Rights Partner for the 2026 Victorian Club State Championships.
As part of the partnership, matches across five pitches each day will be streamed live throughout the tournament, allowing family, friends and supporters to follow the action from anywhere. Live streams will be available via the Victorian Junior Club Tournament streaming hub.
In addition, Football Victoria scouts and relevant team coaches from the Under 14 to Under 16 competitions will receive access to the Premier Data platform, where they can view coded performance data for their playing squads. The platform will provide valuable match insights to support player development, coaching and talent identification throughout the Championships.
Premier Data CEO Steve Cochrane said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to enhancing the experience for clubs and players.
"At Premier Data, we believe every player deserves the opportunity to be seen, understood and supported through quality performance insights.
"Our partnership with Football Victoria for the Club Championships is about elevating the tournament experience and giving clubs, coaches and players access to the same level of data and vision used across elite sport."
Football Victoria would also like to acknowledge the valued contributions of this year's Championship support partners:
- New Balance and Belgravia Apparel: FV’s official apparel and footwear partner, supporting the delivery of the event on and off the pitch.
- The Pancake Parlour: A long-time supporter of grassroots sport, Pancake Parlour will be helping fuel participants, families and supporters across the weekend.
- Green Turf: Official curators of The Home of The Matildas, supporting the presentation of all playing pitches and surrounds.
- Northern Motor Group: Proud automotive partner of Football Victoria and of grassroots football in Victoria.
- Meet Pat: Supporting the event with hydration stations across the precinct.
Football Victoria CEO Dan Birrell said the Championships represent an exciting new chapter for football in Victoria.
"For a long time, our clubs and participants have been asking for a tournament where they can once and for all establish which club is the best in Victoria.
"This weekend, football takes over the La Trobe University Sports Precinct and it is going to be a true spectacle. I cannot wait to welcome everyone to the precinct.
"I'd like to thank our Naming Rights Partner, Premier Data, along with our outstanding support partners for helping bring what promises to be a fantastic weekend to life.
"As always, this event would not be possible without the continued support of La Trobe University and Sport and Recreation Victoria."
Football Victoria looks forward to welcoming clubs, players, coaches, volunteers and supporters for what promises to be an unforgettable inaugural Premier Data Victorian Club State Championships.
