Preston Lions re-sign head coach for upcoming NPLW season

Preston Lions FC has re-signed senior coach Dan Foden for season 2024, following a promising first season in the NPLW. 

In 2023, the Preston Lions finished the season sixth on the NPLW table with eight wins from their 20 matches.

On the club's social media, the Lions' revealed they were "delighted" to announce his re-signing. 

"After a great debut season in the NPLW for our Women's team, this exciting development ensures the continuity of Dan's exceptional leadership, expertise, and passion for our club," the club said. 
 
Foden joined the club in November 2019 and led the club to a dominant VPLW campaign which saw them promoted to the NPLW in 2023.
 
Before arriving at B.T. Connor Reserve he coached Alamein for two seasons in the NPLW and has been involved in both male and female football in Australia and England.
 
"Couldn't be happier to have signed on for this club and lead our women's team for next season," Foden added about signing on.
