Football Victoria clubs can now apply for up to $5,000 through the Set The Standard Club Grants, supporting practical initiatives that strengthen cultural safety, inclusion and anti-racism.

Clubs must complete the free Set The Standard anti-racism training before they can submit a grant application.
Delivered by Reflect Forward, the 60-minute training is designed for coaches, committee members, team managers and match-day officials, providing participants with greater confidence to recognise, discuss and respond to racism in their sporting environment.
The training must be completed by February 28, 2027, with clubs then able to apply for funding to support initiatives that help create more welcoming, culturally safe and inclusive environments. The sooner clubs complete the training, the sooner they can submit their grant application, with applications assessed as they are received and funding limited.
Up to 50 grants of $5,000 (excluding GST) are available to eligible Victorian community sporting clubs, with applications assessed as they are received and funding limited.
For football clubs, the grants provide an opportunity to turn the learnings from the Set The Standard training into practical action within their own club, supporting initiatives that promote inclusion and address racism at a local level.
