Greater Bendigo’s 2026 Finals series wrapped up across two days, with 16 Grand Finals producing Champions across the region.
The action began on Saturday, 19 September at Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve, with 11 junior Grand Finals taking place across the Mixed and Girls’ Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 competitions.

Colts United FC claimed two titles, with the Colts defeating Swan Hill SC 2-1 in the Mixed Under 16A Grand Final before the Colts Yellow recorded a 5-1 win over Border Raiders FC in the Mixed Under 12D decider.
Strathdale SC also enjoyed a successful day, with the Strathdale Jets defeating Kyneton District SC U12M A 3-1 in the Mixed Under 12A Grand Final before the Strathdale side overcame Kyneton District SC U12G Maroon 3-1 after extra time in the Girls’ Under 12A final.
Kyneton District SC claimed two titles of its own, with the U12G White side defeating Golden City SC U12 Girls 3-2 in the Girls’ Under 12B Grand Final, while the U16G Maroon side edged Golden City SC U16A Girls 1-0 in the Girls’ Under 16 decider. Kyneton also featured in the Mixed Under 12C final, where the U12M C Maroon side defeated Epsom FC U12 Scorpions 3-0.
Golden City SC U14A claimed the Mixed Under 14A title after defeating Spring Gully United SC Rangers 6-4 on penalties, following a 2-2 draw after regulation time.
Spring Gully United SC also lifted the Mixed Under 14C trophy, with the Jets defeating Castlemaine Goldfields FC Green 2-1, while Castlemaine Goldfields claimed the Mixed Under 14B title with a 2-0 win over Swan Hill SC U14’s Victory.
The final junior decider saw Golden City SC U14 Merinos Girls defeat Kyneton District SC U14G Blue 3-1 in the Girls’ Under 14 Grand Final.
The senior and youth competitions took centre stage on Sunday at John McEwen Reserve, with five Grand Finals rounding out the Greater Bendigo Finals series.
Spring Gully United SC claimed the Senior Women’s League 1 Championship after a thrilling 4-3 extra-time victory over Shepparton United SC.
Colts United FC secured the Senior Men’s League 2 title, defeating Border Raiders FC Senior Men’s 2-1, while Swan Hill SC Senior Women were crowned Senior Women’s League 2 Champions after a 1-0 win over Border Raiders FC Senior Women.
Tatura SC Reserves took out the Men’s Reserves League after a penalty shootout victory over Shepparton United SC, while Spring Gully United SC completed a successful finals campaign by defeating Shepparton South SC’s U18 side 4-3 after extra time in the Youth League Grand Final.
