The finals of the U-NITE Cup are nearly upon us with champions set to be crowned after months of entertaining footballing action across the state.
This annual event is a celebration of cultural diversity, bringing together teams representing nations from across the globe and is organised by MCSA and proudly supported by partners Melbourne Victory and Football Victoria.
The 2022 UNITE-Cup double header final will be played at the Veneto Club (191 Bulleen Road) on Sunday, January 15.
At 11am, the male final kicks off the day’s proceedings with a highly anticipated matchup between defending champions Afghan United and Carlton Brazilians.
Afghan United finished the pool matches undefeated from their six matches with an impressive +17-goal difference. The Carlton Brazilians finished their campaign with three wins from five matches in Group C.

Proceeding the male final, UNITE will battle Melbourne United A to be crowned 2022 women’s champions.
Melbourne United A had a highly successful tournament, topping Group A with three wins from five matches, while UNITE was unstoppable as they went undefeated, only conceding one goal for the tournament with a +20-goal difference.
The tournament winners will experience a unique Melbourne Victory matchday experience at the club’s January 26 doubleheader for the Club’s U-NITE match with Sydney FC.
