The matchups for both the Senol NPL Men’s and Women’s Grand Finals have now been locked in, with the Oakleigh Cannons set to take on Avondale on Saturday and Box Hill to host Avondale on Sunday evening.
The Men’s season finale will kick-off at 3:30pm on Saturday September 19 at Lakeside Stadium and will be staged between the VPL Men’s 2 Promotion Playoff match between Bayside Argonauts and Essendon Royals and the VPL Men’s 1 Promotion Playoff match between Melbourne Victory and Northcote City.
Following Saturday's triple header, the focus shifts to The Home of The Matildas where the reigning Senol NPL Women’s champions Box Hill will take on a red-hot Avondale side on Sunday September 20 from 4pm.
Tickets for both days are now available through INTIX and we can confirm a ticket purchase for Saturday grants access to all three games at Lakeside Stadium.

The 2026 Senol NPL Men’s and Women’s Grand Finals will be streamed, live and free, on the NPL Victoria YouTube channel, while the VPL Men’s 1&2 Play-off matches will be streamed on the Football Victoria YouTube Channel.
For the second year in a row, we will have one club represented in both the Senol NPL Men’s and NPL Women’s Grand Finals, with Avondale locking up their spots yesterday.
Avondale’s senior women’s side, who earned promotion into the Senol NPLW last year, stunned the heavily favoured Essendon Royals 2-1 at Cross Keys Reserve before their senior Men’s side outlasted Hume City 3-2 on the road in the evening.
Both will come up against the minor premiers of their respective leagues after the Oakleigh Cannons and Box Hill United booked their places in the season finales with wins on Friday night.
Oakleigh survived a late penalty miss by rivals South Melbourne to win 2-1 and secure a spot in their first Grand Final since their 2024 win.
And Box Hill were clinical in their victory over FC Bulleen Lions, winning 2-0 at home and keeping their dream of going back-to-back alive.
Of course, Saturday will also see both the VPL Men’s 1 and 2 promotion playoff matches played, with Bayside Argonauts and Essendon Royals vying for spot in the VPLM1 in 2027 and Melbourne Victory hoping for an immediate return to the Senol NPLM in 2027 with a win over Northcote City.
